How to attach mods to armor
How do you attach mods to armor? That's one thing I never understood as it was never explained.

Progress further in the story to Chapter 2.

You will unlock The Room of Requirement. There, you can do a quest to unlock a Magical Loom that will help you put mods into your Equipment. (They're almost completely useless anyways.)

Yeah I never used the traits myself.

You can install 3 upgrades to raise def or offense depending on the item{i think}
And 1 upgrade for a spell or defense against certain enemies. Once you have
unlocked the room.

3 upgrades, and 1 trait that is so situational most of the time that it is pointless.

I rather like my curse damage traits

I'm sure some traits are useful if you play a certain way. But I never used curses.

And the loom was underutilized. I didn't even get the first upgrade accomplishment till after I beat the story.

You don't have to use actual curses to benefit, there's talents that apply the debuff from abilities like expeliamus, stupefy, arresto, and the flip one.

I use the Concentration III Trait on all of my armor, it does boost my damage quite a bit, I also choose it because it's affected general damage spells.

I just put on everything the one that "greatly increases damage for all spells". Didn't bother with any of the rest.

My biggest gripe with the design of the game is the difficulty. Even on hardest, it's too easy, and gear traits don't have any noticeable impact to me at all. They need to, at a minimum, buff all the mobs.

This.

Put Concentration III on all your gear, it substantially increases spell damage.

I'm going to chuck on the Curse one when I find it.
