Hum, i think you are just wrong on this
These kids are 16, which is technically above the age of consent in Britain, with a few caviates involved, and most of my classmates had relationships at that age. If they were 11, I'd agree, but they arent. They are at the age when kids start fumbling around, trying to figure out this weird dating thing, so it wouldnt be completely out of place. Of course, it being the 1800, thats unlikely to actually happen.
When I was in school mostly junior high to high school. Most guys wanted girlfriends. I wanted a girlfriend when at I was about 12 and upward. So the ideal of young romance is not off the table.
I remember liking this hot girl and was scurred to death to ask her out, but I finally did. So everything about romance was awkward at a young age. If I had the confidence that I had when I was younger, I would have asked her out without feeling like "what if she rejects me blah blah blah"
If they did add romance it would be like reliving my childhood memories as being a young boy trying to romance a girl by writing poetry or some stupid stuff lol.
lets not twist words here because you and i both know people that are asking for relationships are asking for ROMANCE relationships.
....
Dude. What the heck? I'm assuming you're an adult because your steam level.
Unfortunaley people project their own bias when other people mention stuff. I agree. Is like saying that wanting combat and evil choices makes you a murderer. Asking if there is gonna be romance in a RPG game is normal since is an RPG, obviously that if the game is rated Teen, then the romcance will be age appropiate. I have mentioned it many times, but here I go again, games with Teen romance as player option:
-All Persona Games
-Life is Strange 1 and 2 and 3
-Final Fantasy series
-Rune factory
-Oki Doki
-And many non western games with focus on story.
Basically none of them has pornographical or suggestive themes on them. The romance is just part of the plot to flesh out character progression. On life is Strange 1 you can kiss or not kiss Chole as teen Max and there are zero reasons to think that the game developers were intentionally trying to promote pedophilia. Why people belive this, is what is wierd to me. There are like hundreds of VR porn games on Steam but somehow wanting a Yule Ball on Hogwarts Legacy or an awkard date in Madame Puddifoot's tea shop, is pedo.
Teens are allowed to have relationships too.
If it's a romance like in a Harry Potter movie or a Persona Game, it think it's fine
Some romances in Persona implied explicit actions were taken.
I share this opinion
