Please, someone, kill this pointless / mindless mini game and let us proper open locks with magic. Thanks in advance.

Imagine opening all the lock on the entire map. It's annoying ye xD

pd: Story mode has an auto-open feature

I didn't know that! Seems like it should be easy enough to add to the other difficulties. I mean the mini game is not difficult, it's stupid and pointless.

Exactly, it's supposed to do it instantly xD Makes 0 sense

The most difficult part of the mini game is the first time to figure out what activates, then it's just rinse and repeat. And the difficulty difference between the level of lock literally being "it's level 2 so you need the level 2 spell"..... so weak.

I don't understand why ppl need a mod for something this simplistic. Spin outside wheel until it lights and outer wheels spin, do the same for inside. Takes about 5 seconds and doesn't even matter if it's a Lvl 1 or 3 lock :/ Laziness lol

No one is lamenting that it's a hard game. People are aggravated that it's so mindlessly and pointlessly simple, which makes it tedious when you're opening dozens of locks. It adds nothing to the game other than a needless headache.

I was okay with it the first 10 times maybe, but there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of locks and you tend to do many in the same area at times. I find it droning.

Not laziness, the fact there is no challenge or increase of difficulty in lock level is why we want it to auto unlock, like magic. The way it is, we are magical lock picking, not magical unlocking. There is no difficulty, I was just stating what the most "difficult" part was. Very simple, no challenge, not an unlock spell.

The laziness is on the devs for making such a weak lock system.

There are mods for this. But you'll have to go look for them.

Not on Nexus, that I've seen. Pray tell?

I guess my patience isn't as thin. At that point you could also say locks are pointless altogether, which yes they are, but it takes 5 seconds, prob about as long as the Devs would make the spell animate and actually unlock. Might shave off a whole 2 seconds with a mod X]

Turns out, nopers. The mod I saw was just named in such a way as to be confusing. So maybe not yet.

I actually enjoy the animation, it's part of the vibe of actually opening a lock by magic. No need to get cavalier, when the mod drops you keep on enjoying spinning your wheels.

Just keep tapping A, this actually works better than trying to time it

(Talking about the Daedulus Key right?)-
