Savvy Spender - Missing achievment

Hit level 40, spent all my points - Didn't get the Savvy Spender achievment.

No auto-save close to completion. Do i need to start from scratch and complete 85% of the game again? Or is there some way to fix this?

I have the same problem got level 40 spent all talent points and got no achievment

Same problem, also the same problem with "Collectors edition".

Same problem here, but no issues with the Collectors edition achievement.

Nope. Got everything except that one and the doing the first part of the story with all 4 houses.

Same problem here, missing both a forte for achievement and savvy spender. als no problem with the collecters edition.

I saved and reloaded the save and it worked.

hmm out luck then, I am several hours past hitting lvl40 and have no save prior.

I saved the game after meeting the achievement requirements (Spending the points) and then loaded that save instead of restarting the game, I didn't need to go back to a prior save. I don't know if it's the same as just restarting the game.
