It's not necessary to implement it either. It's necessary to pay attention to what you are doing. She went through a confirmation dialogue
Trust me, it is a better philosophy to go through life thinking you should avoid making mistakes rather than thinking that someone else should prevent you from making them.
It's called locus of control. If you think she's not at fault for deleting her character you are ascribing to the philosophy of external locus of control. Meaning she was "made to" delete her character by external forces
But we can clearly see that's not reality. She was talking and streaming and not paying attention. What if she had been using a knife while talking and streaming and not paying attention? Or driving a car?
The loss of internal locus of control philosophy is one of the great challenges facing younger people today, as nefarious forces in media try to tell everyone that everything isn't their problem and they're not responsible for anything about their situation.
That's a great idea, I'll submit a request!
That's odd, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a small bug dependant upon resolution etc.
Anyway, not a major annoyance, at least there is a confirmation dialogue box.
Here have my points.
Incredible to what extremes "it's not my responsibility"-mindsets go. Now they even stopped claiming responsibility for which button they press.
They selected the DELETE option and then used a different button to verify that they wanted to delete their character. That's 100% user error.
What more do you want? A third dialogue box with yet another button to click through?
If they were using a mouse and keyboard they'd have to right click to initiate the delete sequence.
Commonly used button being the settings button.
I agree it's her fault, but it shouldn't even be a possibility.
