Missing quest

I have received an owl from Poppy after meeting with the centaurs, telling me to meet her in the Forbidden Forest to go and look for a cave. However, this hasn't triggered the quest to go along with it. After some googling I cant find anything to resolve it, or even anything similar aside from the missing main questline bug. The fixes for that bug didn't work, and having found out where the quest location is (again through google) Poppy is nowhere in sight, and there is no wait option either. Nothing.

I thought perhaps I needed to finish the next trial to trigger it, but after doing that still nothing. The owl mail is still there, but nothing relating to the quest.

Anyone else had anything similar or know of a fix?

i have the same bug and dont know how to fix it. its annoying. i thought that patch will fix it but its still the same.

I havent found one yet, but will update this if I happen to find anything. Im just hoping its not completely lost the quest chain, its a little far in to have to replay for completion.

I have done this. I have the owl mail from her to tell me to meet her in the forest, however, I dont have a quest. And I have read the mail repeatedly, clicked repeatedly. Nothing.
She also isnt in the quest location, there are no map markers showing anything for her, and at the quest location there is no "wait" area or Poppy herself.

Hi guys I've had that problem for the last while. What eventually solved it for me way far travelling to the nearest way point and trecked by foot up to it this time and it have me the option to talk and triggered the cut scen. Dunno if be any help to anyone but that what hot me last it.

I had that same problem and but opening the letter a second time seemed to work and the quest became active.

i have a similar problem. I finished speaking with the centaurs, and with poppy, but i have no mail from her on the snidget quest. I was hoping there'd be a quest i'd have to do first, but i dont think there is. I've gotten no mail from poppy after the centaur run-in.
