Astronomy Class, no focus available.
So, I have reached the very important Astronomy class, part of the main quest. And the cutscene works all well and good. Until I'm told to put the telescope into focus. To locate the first constellation. Now all I hear is the "click" of rotations happening, but there is no starry image that appear when I do.

Now I've messed about with graphics settings, it did nothing to it. I've verified game files and it didn't help. I've also spent some time doing side quests. Hoping it will fix itself. But it has not.

I have also done separate saves near the Astronomy classroom. Tried outside of Hogwarts saves then back in again? Still nothing works.

It is quite annoying as I want to progress with the main quest. But now I'm already at lvl 29 because of too many side quests completed.

Someone else have this issue? Have you been able to fix it somehow?

And thats what exactly? All I can find is NASA related and that is not relevant to gaming.

Just holding on the mouse wheel?
A : left rotation | D : right rotation | W : Zoom In | S : Zoom Out

If you done it right it should take away keyboard control and go to a cut scene. Don't forget to align the star to the image.

Moving the scroll wheel didn't work at all, but moving my mouse in a circle did.

Well, with my current attempts I've only had it stay black. With no change no matter how much I move the mouse. But I will try this tomorrow and see if it works better with using the keys.

I had similar issues but mouse movement eventually worked after a delay of a couple pf mins, was kind of relieved as the rest of the keyboard was locked out so couldn't even escape or quit the game..

That did not work for me either. All black.

I have tried two different mice and the wheel does not work. All I get is black screen when trying to see telescope. When I rotate the mouse I hear clicks but screen remains locked. The wheel works to scroll other things in the game so I'm thinking it is a game issue and not much I can do?

Took the mouse off the mouse mat put it onto the desk and moved it about 8 to 10 inches up and down, worked fine
