you have burned hundreds of people and goblins, thrown them off cliffs, left them permanently petrified and left to die, fed to your plants, or slain with anything that stands near you
the only reaction that should come is "finally he makes it quick and painless"
Everything alright bro? 🤣🤣🤣 I’m just asking a question to gauge if others think the same, drop the passive aggressive ♥♥♥♥, nobody attacking the game & you’re not a developer, it’s just a question. If you don’t want to answer or involve yourself, keep scrolling. Change your boxers too.
Yeah but that should be the reaction of wizard kind in ALL harry potter lore but canonically isn't.
He's right, I killed a tent full of poachers with unforgivables right in front of sweet little Poppy Sweeting and she made a joke about how I'm not afraid of using the dark arts...
Not so much discourage, but it’s a forbidden spell, I just expected some sort of reaction from NPCs I guess, nothing major, again I dunno what’s with the passive aggressive response, it’s just a question
I’m not a super Harry Potter lore nerd, but this game is set 100 years before voldemort who seemingly made the use of these “forbidden” curses infamous. Perhaps in this time it wasn’t as looked down upon.
In KOTOR you could become an evil Sith and the game never impeded you purposefully for choosing that path. You just couldn’t have certain followers. Same with BG series. The way OP posed this, sounds like the mere utterance of “Crucio” would get you sent to Azkabahn which from a gameplay aspect doesn’t seem fun considering there’s like 30 total spells.
Actually, yes. Having negative consequences for using an overpowered ability makes sense game-design wise, and it makes a LOT of sense lore-wise in the context of this game.
