I kind of agree.
I would say most teens were bullies in one form or another. But that wouldn't really make for a fun game unless the game would allow you to fight back which it absolutely wouldn't because they would not want the rating change. But that might just be the high school I went to.
Facts, I still go on Twitter but gave up on Reddit completely
Same here
I find that much of the writing leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of the plots and miniplots in HL feel shallow and uninteresting, particularly the main story (interacting with the keepers). The main story is just thinly veiled way to make the character to go to dungeons, fight mobs and solve puzzles, until you get the next call.
Sebastian's questline is the only story in the game that feels properly engaging and emotional. He also has lot of good lines that make him feel like an actual person instead of a random NPC. Same of Ominis. Like Sebbie trying to do small talk while climbing a mountain in "in the shadow of the mountain" quest.
Between the two, I suppose Seb is the more compelling character.
He is SO Raj, lmao.
Natty is a typical Gryffindor and made a great contrast to my herbologist/potioneer Ravenclaw I had going. My character's approach to combat is all about preparation and Natsai jumps into situations because she wants to prevent what happened to her and her father from happening to others.
Sebastian is very much a "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" type character, and he made a similar but very different contrast to my Ravenclaw character as well. He's the clear-cut example of what happens when you don't know when to stop, which was a driving force for how my character handled the ending of the game.
I do wish we got more of Amit Thakar though.
Just because my opinion and standard of writing, differs from yours, does not mean I have not played the game.
One would have to be rather new to steam, to not understand that I both own the game and have played it...
If you don´t think they are shallow, that is fine, that is your opinion.. you could tell us why you think so, instead of making personal attacks on other people for their views.
Most likely we don´t use the same definitions on what character progression is, nor what a companion vs npc is.
Yeah, its super annoying when its CONSTANTLY brought up in the discussion pages too.
What I don't like is forced characters/quests/companions that do nothing but indulge the critics/roaring crowd. They can never go wrong, they cannot be evil, they cannot be flawed in any way. There's no moral dilemmas with them, there's no substance.
And that's what Natty is regardless of the race.
