Female main character looks ugly in game

I spent 30-40minutes to create a beautiful female character only to see she looks super ugly and wide face in-game. The character looks way different between char creator and in game. However male chars look exactly the same as char creator and in game.

I want to believe this is just a bug and not purposely made. I wish i created male though i regret everything. I'm way too in to change now, if you are starting now, just a heads up for you.

Yeah, feels like character doesn't look the same up close and drom distance.
But what triggers me more is that any hairstyles that doesn't get hidden from wearing a hat often has textures of hair on the back going through the hat, it's extra annoying considering that you stare at your character's back more than at face and it limits hat choices with some of the hairstyles.

I think if everyone else sees it and you don't, you are probably running a potato.

My character's face looks normal like in creator menu and no I don't run a potato.

Created a female character, and they look fine. Good bone structure, not an alien instagram model.

To the people claiming that the characters look the same in-game, I'm still not seeing any evidence. None of you have posted any, despite it being requested.

Yea I tried to make a female char 3 times each time it ended up different than what I had made and not by a small amount so I went with a male instead and it looked exactly as I made it it's so annoying spending a good 30-40mins going threw all those settings to have all that work mean nothing

I knew something was wrong after i created a second character.... no matter what, they both ended up looking like Greta Thunberg..... for real, wtf!!

I think it must be a bug defaulting them all back to the same face or just a very lazy design choice

It's because the character creation and inventory screen use a resting face, while when the character is in game, she's always doing some kind of facial expression. Normally grinning, trying to look "pleasant" and never using the resting face. This stretches the lips all out and squints the eyes a bit. It is kind of strange that they don't ever let her use the normal resting face in game.

play it longer as this one scene at the start, after the dragon, Portkey scene u see your real character, at best its outside of the cave.

I think its a bug.

What baffles me more than the ugly faces themselves is the fact that so many people can't see it. I swear those who claim it's fine must be either outright blind or at least somewhat visually impaired (and they also never post any evidence).
Is there anyone who'd say with a straight face that the character on the left looks the same as the one on the right on my example?

male characters look great. you can make very handsome male characters. with the females that is not possible and not even with the use of mods can improve much in that regard. when you are at the character creator window, there are 2 or 3 presets wich look ok for the females but once you go into the game they look nothing at all like the ones you made. they all look the same regardless of the preset. female characters are not very atractive. but some npc are

How do people spend so much time in this super limited character creator? Or am I missing a button that unlocks detailed face editing?
