Unable to pickup demiguise statues at night

Title says it all... every demiguise statue I come across, during nighttime, is unobtainable. This has been happening before and after the patch today.

Apologies for the possibly redundant question, but just want to confirm you've started Mr. Moon's quest that allows you to pick them up?

i had one - looked like it was night.. and wouldn't let me pick it up.. opened map, waited and then i guess it decided it was "officially" night.. and let me pick it up.

Yes, I have started and completed the initial quest from Mr. Moon. Thanks for asking

I did another quest that introduced opening the map and pressing 'F' to wait until day or night... that ability seems to have corrected the situation.
