Daedalian House key not giving reward

I have collected all the house keys for hufflepuff and when the chest opens i cannot collect the reward, I have verified the files, restarted my computer, put all but one in an reload back to open it and nothing has worked. I have no clue if this problem is only a me problem but I would like my reward for the Daedalian keys.

It's a skin for your cloak, something relic cloak or something like that

it's just a visual thing, not an item

it will not let me collect from the chest, the option to pick up is not there at all and if i look in the appearance section for cloaks and robes it is not there

I saw someone with the same problem. Apparently the fix for them was going back on the save before opening the chest, go and do another quest, and then come back

yeh it looks like there quest is buggin out.

i went to try that and i cant start a quest, i went to a attend class and a " press F to begin"
and i cant do either

I have this exact same thing happening to me.
Even going to earlier saves does not fix it.

Ah well, I'm done with the game anyway. Too boring for me.

i was soft locked by a main quest, try doing some main quests

well. I completed it, and got the ropes, but i cant put it on. Its not in my inventory

It's a skin used to change the appearance of whatever robe you have equipped. I tried it equip it but didn't actually get the skin until after talking to Nelly; then it showed up.
