[Spoiler] Bug/Item Missing

Hey, somewhere in the game i found a key to open a door with a long animation. I tried to force the door when i was in "Red zone 15 sec timer" and the animation was too long and it make me fail the mission. Nvm i tought i could go back after the story.
10min later i go back to this door and the key is missing, can't open it and the key isn't where i found it.
Any solution ? ty

It's the door near the director chamber.

In the principal story, when you go at the third test, you need to go in the director chamber. i take the secret Key, try to open the door but "Red zone 15 sec timer" start and i failed the mission. I tried to restart mission but key disappear and now i can't open the door. How i can resolv that? (i can't load any save)

Hi! I didnt have this issue, because I opened that door while I was exploring the castle way before that quest (flying outside there is a balcony), perhaps you can try to open it without doing the quest, you'll need level 3 to lockpick the door and get the key (if you dont have it already) or just open the door and after start the mission.

Hi C4rn4g3, thx for your message but it's not that lock.

When you come on the balcony, you use level3 lockpick for open the door, and in the room, you get a key. That's key is necessary for open the big door. You can see the roadmap for get that key here :

My problem is, i already get the "Key of Admittance" but the game think i don't have. I don't know what value modify on my save for notify i have that key on me.

If anyone have an idea...

My problem is, I got the key and finished the quest, PC crashed and now I can't open the door with the 4 locks as the key is gone, no matter how many times I close and open the game. So I can't get the field guide page or the 2 collection chests. I really want to be able to 100% this game on my 1st playthrough.

Hi, I've got similar problem but with a cave in the southern region. I was opening the chest and game crashed. After the restart i couldn't get into the cave because the cube for opening the door was locked in a box with a lockpick and it just disappeared. I don't have any idea of how can i fix this. Tried to restart the game but it didn't help

guys if u need i found this link to solve my bug: i was able to activate "ghost mode" to enter the cave bypassing the wall and i opened the chest. It's all explained here:
