water glitch

water glitches to ridiculous geometrics. ocupying the screen and such... any fixes on that? anyone knows a settting that might help?

same or it just disappears in a radius around me. Its a patch problem. havent found a setting.

A simple reload of a save or restart of the game should fix it.

but it often comes due to heavy memory usage or a GTX not strong enough for the game :)

what i found out is that if you step on that water, it disappears completelly, it seems the geometrics are confliting with terrain textures. water thats not near terrain do not glitch

i noticed that sometimes when i step on the water thats glitched it comes back down to 1 small area and reconstitudes. it seems they are using a fluidity thing for the water to react like real water. and thats causing issues.

rx 580 here i get the same bug, ty for mentioning walking on the water fixes it ill give that a try!

I have an RX 580, and since following these steps, I have been unable to reproduce any of the bugs discussed in this thread

It worked for me for a for little while, but on my third time booting up the game afterward, I started seeing all those bugs again. I'm very sorry to anyone whom I may have given false hope.

I did the method @plstbagme advised and still have water glitching, currently talking to Nora Treadwell, and the water looks like a wall of shifting mirrors.
