Honestly, I thought he was going to be more plot-relevant like the others... but he really doesn't serve any purpose beyond that one broom-riding lesson.
Not that it matters. Every NPC besides those small few only has one side-quest which they will never stop referencing every time you talk to them.
And listening to the conversations around Hogwarts reminded me of Oblivion.... like the way they're not really talking to each other but just reciting random pre-recorded lines of dialogue. The world is so utterly dead just beneath the surface...
Doesn't count. While Amit gets 2 points of comparative relevance (one being the introduction to the astronomy tables and the other being the trip into the goblin mine), both are main quests rather than side quests, and it never progresses any further than that.
Also Amit is the garbage-tier Ravenclaw. I'd rather have had more involvement for Dungbomb... or that girl whose brother's feet turned into vegetables.
Couldve, shouldve, wouldve.
You asked who the Ravenclaw is, gave you the answer that is correct.
Yet you are pulling the typical deranged take that its wrong and doesnt really count.
Again a perfect example of people on these forums being total dimwìts...
There isn't a Ravenclaw character because WE are the Ravenclaw.
And no, i dont' count Amit. He isn't the same as Sebastian, Poppy or Nat what's her name
he does two quests with you, whines the whole time, and then is gone. There isn't a meaningful relationship there, and no substantial quest line to follow, nor even an achievement associated with him like the other three
Though I might be Slytherin, i acknowledge Ravenclaw always seems to get the shaft lol. Whether it's the movies giving them the wrong color and symbol, or this game neglecting giving them a meaningful companion and questline
You have just proven to be one.
*besides i would look up the meaning of objectively and subjectively if i were you

I bet it was planned to have companions in "freeroam" mode outside of missions (hero comments "i shouldn't be alone here" in the southern area) and the points system for the 4 houses was also most likely there or was planned at least (old games had it). Same with the different school classes, could have easily been mini games like the old games and - important- to be repeatable like the ball game.
Merlin trials that are labeled Sphinx in the game files. I have SOOOO many questions! XD
Someone needs to run an AMA for the devs.
I'm a Ravenclaw myself, but I would also be upset if I could only be Ravenclaw. I've been having massive fun doing play-throughs of all 4 houses.
Sebastian's quest line never makes much sense to me from a different House perspective, how he and Ominis trust a 'outsider' so much, but it makes a bit more sense as a Slytherin
i wish the quests were more different based on House, honestly
It's because us Ravenclaws have the most well-adjusted students who can take care of their own problems. ^_^
Like if I was an actual Hogwarts student, I'd probably rip any sort of house iconography off my clothing, opt out of all the personality pigeonholing bullsh!t, fully dye my robes black, and just waltz into any and all of the common rooms as I saw fit (because there is no method of entry that can't be learnt through lurking and listening). I'd steal food from ALL the tables in the great hall and sit on my own in the corner to eat it. I'd also release all of the caged animals in the transfiguration classroom because I've wanted to do that ever since the HP films.
But I'd probably have been lumped into Ravenclaw before all that... assuming they didn't let me simply opt out of being stuck in a clan.
Random fact nobody else knows: One of the high schools I went to did have actual houses / teams. I was in Cadwgan. It wasn't really relevant most of the time though. It was just for setting us into teams for sporting events and the annual school Eisteddfod. I just figure that most people outside of Britain probably don't realise it is a real thing.
