Does anyone know if we can use Avada Kedavra on the giant giant giant Aragog looking thing? Because I'm arachnophobic and this game is .... well.... yeah... in any case, I would like to cut the fight short so I can just get my XP and get it over with.

you can still upgrade your stuff later to get better ancien magic, I recall that I one shot that one with it. If you feel not ready yet juste wait that your reach a certain amout of level :)

There's a mod that replaces all spiders with boxes. You might want to give it a look.
