So it is worth it to play all houses!- a different flavor of adventure! Getting excited again! Thank-you for your responses.

Which house do you think I should start?, was a ravenclaw in the first house I played.

Choose Hufflepuff or whatever that's called.

Most of the differences are minor, with a few exceptions, and it's mostly in the early part of the game.

No, the only thing that changes is the 1 house quest. Everything else is *absolutely* the same. Ravenclaw is the canonical house of this character. Gryffindors and Slytherin don't do side quests, and Hufflepuffs do side quests for free. So Ravenclaw is the only house that would do side quests in exchange for rewards.

Each house has some qualities associated with them. There's a reason why Hufflepuff is the quest about saving an animal for absolutely no reward other than doing a good deed. I mean, feel free to bring some evidence that what I said is inaccurate, but out of 2 replies, nobody has really brought forward different ideas.

Also, I never claimed that there was any officially stated house, just that canonically, it makes sense for it to be Ravenclaw.

except canonically its litterally any house no matter what u might say as a griffindor can have qualities off a ravenclaw so can a slytherin and a hufflepuff the thing is every house has a vauge requirement like having to be brave or cunning wich mostly is a thing most people will have all ravenclaw has is usally knowledge a knack for riddles wich again most will have while also having traits from the other houses aswell id say slytherin are the types that would demand a reward for this time in side quests griffindors would honour it and not want a reward huffelpuffs would likely be to nice to accept a reward

There is a change to one quest, your common room, and the color scheme on a major chunk of the gear. Some throw away dialogue, but doesnt really change how you are treated by the other students in general, which was a wasted opportunity.

arr... the only differ I notice is between my Slytherin and Hufflepuff playthrough is... that one quest about missing pages... in Slytherin you use a toast to find jack's ghost while in hufflepuff, you go to azkaban to find clue to how about jack's death..

and oh, Imelda is a little bit nicer to you as a Slytherin..

Fair enough, I guess in my headcannon I would expect houses to be a little bit more meaningful. But, as the hat says, everyone has their preconceptions about what the houses represent.

“Listen to me, Harry. You happen to have many qualities Salazar Slytherin prized in his hand-picked students. His own very rare gift, Parseltongue — resourcefulness — determination — a certain disregard for rules,” he added, his mustache quivering again. “Yet the Sorting Hat placed you in Gryffindor. You know why that was. Think.” “It only put me in Gryffindor,” said Harry in a defeated voice, “because I asked not to go in Slytherin. . . .” “Exactly,” said Dumbledore, beaming once more. “Which makes you very different from Tom Riddle. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”

So I strongly feel that someone who chooses a house would strive to display the qualities associated with them.
