Change time of day missing.

Is there another way to change the day/night cycle other than the option that's supposed to be in the map? My map doesn't display the option to change the time of day, so i cant seem to progress at the moment. Anyone have any ideas?

Can't change to a specific time. Only option is swap between day/night cycle. If you are using mouse/keyboard, open the map then hit "F" (default). The option should be listed @ bottom right of map.

Yeah the option to do that is missing for me. Is there any kind of workaround to it that you might know of?

You on console or PC? If PC, check the keybinds to see if you can change it.

I know it doesn't appear if you are on your broom. There might be certain areas that don't allow it, but it should appear in most cases if you are just standing on the ground.

I don't know if this option is there during the first hours of the game, if you just started you might have to wait untill the game opens up.

I’ll keep playing and see if it changes. Hopefully that’ll fix it.

i tried for like 15 minutes to figure out why i can't sleep in my bed, was very disappointed when i realized i can't and supposed to just skip time on the map.

Looks like I needed to get past the mission where you unlock alohomora before the option appears.

I don't have alohomora unlocked & I can pull up the map & have the "F" wait option.

For PC go to settings then click on the mouse (PC control options). Scroll down to map section and there is one that says "Wait" and the default keybind is "F".
