40, but did all side content first. Killed him on hard at 40 too, it wasn't a challenge. If you want a challenge do it earlier, or don't upgrade your gear.

I agree it's a spoiler, but let's face it, he's the obvious villain from the first time you encounter him at the start of the game and you were going to fight him at some point. >.>

Anyway, I was lvl 37 I think. I did a lot of the sides as they came up and then put off the last story quest until I'd done most of the side collections (not Achievements, don't care about those, just in-game Collections). I could tell once I did the main story I'd lose most busy-work motivation, so the few remaining collections may remain undone.
