Ranrok Fight Bugged

I'm currently at the final quest, (mild game-play spoiler ahead) starting the final boss battle at it's very first stage.
But my spells refuse to break the orbs.

Yes, I am using purple on purple. But it just doesn't work.
I've restarted the game several times, restarted the quest from an earlier save point but nothing seems to help.

I'm quite upset and am wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this bug.
I've spend nearly 50 hours on this specific safe file, exploring and imagining my character within the world. (collecting cosmetics, completing challenges etc)

This seems to be the first bug I've encountered so far though. I wouldn't mind restarting but I'm afraid that if I do I'll encounter the exact same bug at the very last main story quest which honestly would be a waste of time.

Again, am I the only one with this bug? Or are there others who have experienced it and maybe fixed it?

No bug, I've completed it. you need to be close, the orb needs to be full (bright), use an offensive spell from the corresponding spell class. cast fast, dodge, repeat for each orb. once all three have been dmg, ronrock is open to dark magic or other spells, but be fast. this fight will occur three times before the final death. You will notice his health diminishes slowly as you start the fight. you know when you have completed a segment of the fight as he will fly away and reposition for the next. took me three tries over two days ( took a breather). Never give up.

same happens to me idk if its only an issue that happens with pc or else..

Same problem for me. Already upvoted the bug. First 2 stages no problem. Last stage ground fight with 4 orbs is a problem. Only the red will burst..

es un bug y al parecer esta solo en pc.. no muestra la barra de vida del dragon y no me permite romper las esferas de colores por eso la pelea es eterna hasta que se me acabe la vida.. llevo asi horas

wow, that's dedication! i managed to take him down on the first try, although i nearly died lol
