Did you do the History of Magic with Bins revelio pages? That are 2 that count for collection total(there are 152 in total revelio pages in total). Some are from butterfly mirrors/ secret rooms/dungeons.
152? Why does the collection page say 150 then?
I can't seem to figure out what my collection wants since my map shows me I discovered everything.
Because in some instances it doesn't track all. For example the enemy you need to kill for the Finishing touches achievement(mongrel) doesn't appear in the list of enemies collection.
And probably to keep on our toes and not spoon feed us all the time but most of the time.
The revelio pages/the conjurations collection/ list of enemies for Finishing touches achievement/ some world wide dungeons(get from treasure maps that are not mapped on the world map/Hogwarts/Hogsmede)/secret rooms in Hogwarts are things that not all items are told to the player or tracked and you need to find them.
Did you do Hogwarts Castle Mysteries?
Did you get your 150 pages in your collection as well or only on the map?
Every other source I've checked has said there's exactly 150 pages, and I doubt that the devs would deliberately leave 2 pages out of every count in the game, so I don't think you're right. Your achievement example doesn't seem to be right either, because several achievement guides state that just standard dark mongrels are required, which ARE in the collection.
I'm having the opposite issue. Collected all of them (in the collection), yet my map says I have 148 instead of 150. Looks like the Revelio pages are just kinda broken...
Hogwarts is composed of sections. Each section has a field guide video to how to find them on youtube. Find each guide. Especially one with timestamps. For each field guide check if it is a revelio and not an accio page. For each revellio page check if it is in your Hogwarts revelio collection. If it is move to next timestamp/section video. If you don't have it go and fallow instruction how to get the revellio in the video. I know it is time consuming and slow but this is how I managed to complete my collections.
I don't remember another side mission that gives you a revellio page. And doesn't give you outside the side mission.
Did you do the items you need to use reparo/leviosa/confringo to activate?
Did you do each mission/side mission?
Also if it doesn't work make a bug tichet. There are 152 places in your collection, Without Bins side mission you need to have 2 empty spaces and not 3 . The problem that you are missing 3 revelio page and you should have missed only 2. 2 you will get when you do Bins side mission.
No for finishing touches achievement you need both mongrels and dark mongrels. And mongrels are not in the enemy collection guide. Believe me I've hit plenty of dark mongrels with ancient magic but only when I hit my first mongrel for the first time I've got the achievement.
Also mongrels are not the only enemy you fight and is not in the enemy field guide(Like Niamh Fizgerald trial enemies).
And it makes sense the game and field guide simulates what is known to the ministery/wizard kind. What you discover and is niche is not included in the field guide. What is not include is just finishing touches nothing major.
My bad mate, just used to most games actually having a conclusive list of collectables rather than ones that aren't counted, which def isn't helped when most outlets seem to say there's 150. Just searched through all 23 locations in the Astronomy wing, and found one of the pages I was missing, so I guess this thread sorta helped me to fix my "issue" lol.
I guess when you put it the way you did, it makes sense to an extent, so even though I didn't start the discussion, your insight was appreciated. Just means I've gotta be a tad bit more thorough :)
Turned out that the last 3 pages were part of two different missions.
