I'm SO sick of trying to get under 1:32 on the flying time-trial, trying to hit the bubbles between rings, and the camera just starts floating off... The turning function and pitch function should be on the SAME stick: both on R, and look shifted to the L stick. Make this an option, PLEASE. (*EDIT: Yes, I know, it becomes stupid-easy after the upgrade, but that feels like cheating to me. I wanna win it without the upgrade.)

I ended up doing the motion of both axis with both sticks simultaneously and got second place. After 40 hours I am starting to get the hang of it, but it feels really counter intuitive. Most annoying part is that you cant move the camera up or down while flying...

Fix the GD flight mechanics on the broom it is so cumbersome and counter intuitive. You should be able to fly the damn thing with the mouse, the dev that came up with the control model should be fired. I don't want to download Mods to achieve it, just hot fix the flight controls.

This mod lets you use the mouse to VERY easily maneuver the broom. After installing it, I was able to do both the first and second races hitting all golden bubbles and missing zero rings. I used the normal version but I'm sure inverted works just as well. Just pick your preference. Cheers.

I downloaded that code and found it didn't have an .exe file. You have to know how and where to insert this code into the existing files. And it ain't cheap, either. So be advised.

I honestly though that's the idea of having that problem because after that race you go and complain having that problem then upgrade fix it.

Code? .exe file? It ain't cheap? What are you talking about brother, it's not Code you have to insert somewhere - it's a Mod in form of a .pak file that goes into the /Phoenix/Content/Paks/ folder. And it doesn't cost anything either.
If your downloaded files actually contain a .exe I would be more cautious.

I hated broom controls with a controller at 1st but then i realized it's actually pretty smart :

Left stick controls your character horizontaly like on ground which is better for slow or vertical movements.

When you fly fast, keep left stick forward and use the right stick to move left/right/up/down (if right stick was accurate, it would have been great). Only use left stick to turn precisely or faster.
