FPS drops
In Hogwarts and Hogsmeade fps drops to 25-40. In other locations it is stable 60fps. The settings have no effect on it. The game behaves the same on medium and low settings. I wonder if it's not the fault of Asus Armory Crate that shows 90 ° C CPU immediately after turning on the computer. Are such fps drops normal with my components?
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Nvidia geforce 3050 laptop 4gb 95w

terrible way of displaying LOD of world. the game basically loads the whole world in your view every single time you even just move the cam!!! peoably a terrible console port by some lazy dev who makes an otherwise fine game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again. the stuttering is caused cuz your CPU always needs to load everything from ground into your view every time you just move the cam from north to south... think of it.. how many times you move the cam for just walking up stars?

YES, TERRIBLE PC PORT for whatever reason this trashy dev did it.

sometimes you can even see the LOD being behind some fog appearing later on a sys recommended by the dev itself (recommended CPU is absolut minimum to even render it properly with 50s lags when walking around on lowest settings)

the software is dooky and needs optimization

Well, the optimization is pathetic on cutscenes I have up to 100 fps, and then again in hogwarts 25-40 fps. I also played on Gtx 1650 laptop and i5-10300H there hogwarts 40-55fps but cutscenes max 40 fps. Optimization is ridiculous, which is a pity, because when I go somewhere, I won't take PS5 with me

Yup, it's a horribly optimized game. My 3090 gets almost 120fps in caves but struggles to keep 30 in Hogwarts and hogsmead. I'm getting 60fps on Steam deck everywhere else.

Today I used Afterburner to monitor game frames.
I turned off frame generation and noticed that the game is stuck at a framerate that isn't what it should be.
I keep frames unlocked and see GPU usage in Hogsmead at 50/56% with drops to less than 46% all while doing less than 60 frames and getting horrible stutter.
In the menus I make 120 frames but in game the GPU remains limited and the frames suck.
No, it's not the CPU for anyone wondering (5950X which is used very little practically and which has no problems with other games)
The only way to get to 120 fixed is to put frame generation but the problems of stutter and goat optimization still remain.
Game developed with feet for me and even worse after the last patch.

I'm still looking for the cause and solution and I noticed something similar in mine. During cutscenes gpu is used in max 70%, while walking around hogwarts or any village gpu usage is 35-60%
