dueling feat stupify ranger
I understand all the other duel feats. Luckily this is a minor problem as the collection can be done with duplicate duel feats. I still would like to understand how this one works. I've read the enemy collection card for rangers. I've used accio and stupify together.

I got it fairly easily by using the stupify from a timed protego, but I had to use the attacks from the surrounding enemies to do it because the ranger kept shooting unblockable attacks.

They the ones who cast petrification or another unblockable? You've gotta deflect someone else's spell at them to get it I think. Of course, I've had dueling feats pop up that were impossible because there wasn't that enemy type present to even try it. I've frequently been told to do things to trolls where there were simply no trolls present and never were (because they only appear in key places).

You wait for another, unrelated enemy to use an attack on you, then quickly move your camera to fire the Stupefy at the Ranger instead.

And yeah, missing half the combat feats shouldn't matter as they endlessly repeat. That said, they are easier to get in the early game when you have fewer spells as they only request the use of spells you actually have.
In fact I got one "combat feat" that just told me "Do whatever you like". That only popped up once though.

If it tells you to do things to trolls, I'm 90% sure there is a troll about somewhere, and you just haven't found it. They're not always positioned right in the middle of things.

Yeah, it's a little slower, but they're easy to farm off wolves.

Thats good and all but its telling me to do that when there was only 2 rangers so no other spells to protect against.
Although I know I somehow blocked an unavoidable attack b4 and got off a stupefy to get the feat in another place but yea it sucks when the game is telling u to do something that is impossible for a fear that I need for 100$ completion.

Sometimes the game gives you dueling feats that are impossible to complete in the given scenario. It does seem to keep track of which enemies are in the vicinity and which spells you have, but not of interactions that may be required to perform the feat. If that happens, simply move on. Each fight has a chance of showing a new feat that is actually achievable.
