Treasure vault bug

I was at a treasure vault at Poidsear coast, which is next to a bandit camp
And to unlock this treasure vault, it need a flame cube (I am not sure what it's call, but a lot of vault have cube similar to this), and the cube is in a cage of the camp
When I first time tried this, I defeated the camp, and unlock the cage with the spell, then the game glitched out, me and the cube got teleported to a random big cage in the camp, and I could unlock it from inside, so I did, then, the cube could go out the big cage, but I couldn't, so I teleported to other place and fly back, then I see the cube is back to its old cage, closed, without lock to unlock, so there's no way I can get it out of the cage

Does anyone know if there's any flame cube I could use near that area? I think it is the only way to get in the vault

Took me a few fire spells to get mine to work.. but it finally opened the vault.

Same here, the small bandit camp near Marunweem, cube in the cage WITHOUT lock.
REALLY no lock visible.... wtf. You can't press "F", because there is NO "F" to press.

Looked it up online to be sure, and yes on non-pc there is definitely a lock on the cage, on which you can use the spell Alohomora. Guess i will never be able to get this treasure... sigh... i'm so sad.

Clarification (hope this helps):
No cheats, no mods.
Tried to re-load several save games, issue remains.
Completed all treasure vault caves, except this one. Main quest active "Shadow in the mountain".

By the way, just installed the latest auto-complete Alohomora... because, well you know unlocking locks takes so much off the valuable fun play time. Since the game is already glitched, why not.

use repulso to glitch the cube out of the cage

The most likely explanation is that you visited that camp earlier, removed the lock, but didn't bring the cube to its destination. If you re-visit the camp a day or two later, then the camp has reset, enemies have respawned, the cube is back in the cage, the cage is closed again, but there is no lock, because locks don't respawn.

Depulso can (according to previous threads, I haven't tried it myself) only glitch the cube out the cage if it has been upgraded to an AoE spell. But even then, there are camps where this does not work since another cage is in the way.

This game crashes a lot. I already picked the lock but was set back due to a game crash, now the lock is just gone, no matter how far back I load

But I solved it by use a bug to go out of bounds and fly to that vault without opening the door

I've had a cube around the south part of the map falling through the map sort of like a companion cube did in Portal. I had to time my Accio spell just right to catch it. Pretty funny. Also, there are a few treasure vaults that just don't have an opening or are under the map.

Locks do Respawn, but not consistently.
Then again there are several cages around you cant open, quite annoying when there are "beasts" in them.

I am currently stuck in this treasure vault. I have tried numerous times to depulso the block out of the cage. It won't budge. This is my last treasure vault. Stuck at level 39 and 79% complete.
I also cannot find 6 landing platforms and 1 balloon set. Apparently I am still missing some field guide pages, mostly at Hogwarts and 1 at Hogsmeade even though the collections set says I have them all. Any suggestions?

use the map to see where you are missing the pages, then run around (or look at the guides section)

Thanks for the info. Nothing comes up on the map for the missing pages. Guess i will have to use a guide and go through them one at a time. For the issue with the stuck cube in the cage, I ended up uninstalling the game and re-installing it. I saved right at that particular camp. I was able to depulso the cube right out of the cage on first try. Shame I had to do this. Also, found all but 1 landing platform and found all the balloons. Still at level 39 and 99% complete. Just want to finish this one to start the game over with a new student in a different house. Oh well.
