Is it my imagination, or is the protagonist a major hypocrite?
She rampages across the land, slaughtering camps full of goblins, bouncing their bodies off the ground or exploding them, then announces "Your blood is on Ranrock's hands!" before moving on to genocide the next camp.

Or lest we forget how many times she accuses poachers of cruelty to innocent beasts after destroying packs of wolves (Mongrels) just for existing... and then kidnapping all the remaining beasts herself "for their own good" and locking them up in the Room of Requirement to harvest materials from them.

It is just a tad unnerving how little self-awareness our wandering, grinning psychopath has.
It isn't like I've got any sort of problem with them being a violent lunatic, but why do they have to preach like they're somehow devoid of blame for their own acts of wanton violence?

I guess it depends on the premise of who shoots first.
She's a teenager.
my wizard doesn't care and everyone will bow down before the greatest wizard of all time
It's your imagination. Next time you feel you're a hypocrite in these situations just stand still and do nothing. It will become clear very quickly.
well those are hostile enemies.

You could try doing it all in stealth mode, you can pick from the chests and leave without killing anyone.
It'd probably harder with spider nests.

...and the poachers outright kill the animals while keeping them chained up and locked in small cages, absolute ♥♥♥♥ compared to what our MC does.
Mhhh you could only pick the caged animal and the quest ones, but that would make it hard to get a pair of the rarest ones.
My favourite line is "It's too late to learn the error of your ways" cold :tgrin:

Me? I'm not the one preaching at the enemies when they're dead.
My character has over 500K Galleons, predominantly made from bagging and selling beasts. Moreover, she has willingly assisted other Hogwarts students in taking the law in their own hands (wanton vigilantism and purposeful assassination). On the surface, she's a sweet little thing, but deep down she's a conniving, greedy biotch. Good times.

No, you rampage across the land doing those things. You are in control.

And the behaviour you describe is quite typical of how hypocritical humans can be, as anyone with any awareness of the background of this game knows...

Objectively false. I'm sitting on my bed, relatively unmoving. Regardless of whether I'm controlling her or not, she is the one moving, while I am not.
Nice

This is why I consider myself an evil wizard....I get annoyed when my character argues with Seb when our goals are so aligned.

By this logic, using imperio (hypothetically obviously) to force someone to kill someone else is all the fault of the person who is cursed because they did the murder, and not the caster of the curse.

It's objectively false that you are in control?

Best you stop playing games then if you believe these characters have free will...
