Bug: Stuck In Combat, Can't save etc.

I was flying with the broom and got in combat with something on the ground. This status of being in combat has now stuck with me for 25 minutes. I can't port or interact with anything. I just got all the challenges done and reached lvl 40 and am frustrated that it didn't save afterwards. I can't seem to find a way to make the game autosave by itself so i could just quit out. Going into hogwarts or hogsmeade isn't helping and i can't enter any instance either. If anyone has got an idea on how to solve this issue it would be appreciated.

had the same issue but noticed it only after several hours of playing. tried flying around everywhere. tried more fighting. entered deep into hogwarts. tried to trigger a reset somehow, but no luck. finally decided to let myself get killed, hoping the "Retry" button would be different to loading the last auto save - nope, it's all gone.

I had to restart at the last saved point 3 times before it fixed itself.

Incase anyone has this issue in future my partner had the same thing, she managed to trigger an in game achievement, this ended the combat music and she was able to save.

Just experienced it luckily recieved an owl letter and it forced an autosave and fixed me game would have lost 30 minutes of progress

Roaming around on my broom until the game auto-saved, then loading that save, fixed it for me.

I just got pushed in-between a fence and a tent and can't get out. Mid combat but they can't even see me, can't access broom or anything 😭
