What is the cheapest graphics card I could play this on with decent results?
Building a new PC for my roomie, but she's not real tech saavy, but I've built 3 PCs myself.

If the game isn't running that well on mid-range graphics cards I could pull the Nvidia GeForce 3060 Ti out of mine and let her use that for a bit.

Here's techspot's reviews of framerates but I dunno how expensive these cards are.

Goal is for $800-$1000 for the new PC, excluding monitor.

My son is playing it on my old rig without to many hickups. 10+ year old Intel processor -16gb ram - and a 1060 6gb card. A few graphics options (shadows, textures, AA ect) cranked down a bit and he's enjoying it.

I play it with a 1050Ti on high and ultra settings, but I've turned off all the film effects type stuff like god rays, film grain and motion blur. I also keep pop density on high (not ultra) and shadows on medium, I think. Game runs better than 30fps unless I crank pop density to ultra and then go to Hogsmead or Hogwarts.

I also have 32GB RAM and have the game installed on an SSD.

The issue with going with a GPU as old as mine or the above 1060 is that they won't be viable for much longer and can't support 4K.
