- Go to your world map, zoom out as far as you can, mover your mouse away from any named region, and check the text in the upper right corner. It will tell you how many collection chests are on the map, and how many of those you've already found. If there is one missing, hover your mouse over the named regions to find out where it is.
- Do the same on the maps for Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.
- If you got all chests on all of those maps, check your vivariums. There are 4 vivariums, and each of them contains 3 chests. These aren't tracked on any map counters, so they are easy to miss. Already opened chests remain in the vivariums, so just explore each vivarium until you've found all 3 chests.
- There are 8 chests on the world map that the "collection chest" counter for that map does not track. These are the chests that butterfly swarms lead you to. Follow a guide to make sure that you've found all those chests. Note that there's still a bug in the game where, under certain conditions, a butterfly chest opens but doesn't give you any collectible. If that has happened in your game, then you won't be able to get to 140/140 unless you edit your savegame.
It's impossible to know which chest gives what because the contents are randomly selected in every single game. This means that nobody can tell you where to go to get a specific item, the best anyone could do would be to suggest that you search the net for a list of all known Conjuration chests and then check that list to see if you can spot the one you might have missed. Or maybe check the Guides section here on Steam, there might be such a list there.
EDIT: Psyringe gives better advice/suggestions. I keep forgetting that you can zoom out on the Map and get a list of all the things you can find in each region, so that's probably your best bet on finding that one chest you've missed. If you check each map region and find that you've already got all the Collection Chests then the missing one is either in one of the Vivariums or it's one of the chests that Butterflies lead you to.
I personally found mine in a Repulso Room. But they are random and will be found in whatever chest you are missing - as Psyringe said check every region. Each hogwarts wing has its own tracker as well so look in there
