Is there a trick to fighting 3 statues at once?
Struggling to finish the 1st tower trial because I keep getting massacred by 3 statues attacking at the same time. I cant seem to be able to block them and they always attack at the same time so hard to block 3 attacks coming in.

Roll > Block.

Makes easier to deal with enemy groups.

I keep my back close to the wall. If I do Roll I go to the far wall it gives me time to get
ready for them to come to me..

Thanks, completely forgot that was a thing.... ran around the room rolling and using the trait power I had bought to speed away as well. I'm glad I asked as this was frustrating me... went from downing all my potions to using 1 when I got ambitious and forgot to roll.

Statues get a LOT weaker when you use Expelliarmus to make them drop their weapons. You can then even use your Ancient Magic to throw the weapons back at them.

In your bestiary information, one of the things is tactical tips on how to fight a particular enemy and their weaknesses. It's always worth a look, especially if you have trouble fighting them.

The tip for those statues, IIRC, is to use expelliramus on them as they are weakened without their weapon. Also, remember to use Ancient Magic (tm) (Z and X) on them as they are particularily vulnerable to that.

Always stock up on Chomping Cabbages, Tentacular and Mandrakes. They make a sizeable dent in enemies. With the right talents you can have 6 cabbages deployed, shield-breaking Tentacular and Mandrakes that paralyze enemies longer and also cause damage as well.

I'd rather dodge than block, personally. I'd also use a Thunderbrew potion for the lightning storm damage, because you can keep dodging and the storm follows you around

(Freely after Pink Floy'd Dogs of war)

Cabbages of war and crucifers of hate
With no cause, we don't discriminate
Discovery is to be disowned
Our compost is flesh and bone

Hell opened up and put on salad
Grow 'round and masticate
For fertilizer, we'll chomp and chew
Even our masters don't know the roots we grow

One world, it's our greenhouse
One world, and we'll chomp it down
One world... one world...

(Yeah, it's pretty bad. Still, chomping cabbages. They're fantastic.).

Here's what I did playing on Hard. Managed to finish the fight without taking damage.

But basically combos are important to kill things fast. Expelliarmus + Diffindo = big damage to these guys. The smaller ones are vulnerable to most CC as well so just try to keep as many as possible unable to attack.
