Here's an idea: Have it be free and then you yourself can decide to use it or not.
I know it is groundbreaking to suggest that players decide how they play a game, but I think it is crazy enough that it might just work.

evenso flu powder doesn't grow on trees, someone somewhere has to collect the materials to make the stuff, craft it then dispense it to people, im just saying the fast travel seems way too easy, you dont use any floo powder at all

no im saying you should go to a magic store to purchase the floo powder because it costs galleons to make the stuff and time and energy to mine it or grow it or wherever it comes from. A potion maker or someone has to physically make that product so they should sell it.
its not like floo flame powder santa has a huge bag of floo powder that he keeps on his back and he goes around giving away the powder to everyone that looks his way. It obviously comes from someplace. It's no different than buying any other supplies in the game. By your logic it shouldn't cost money to buy clothing from the clothing store. But I guess since you are being a whiny jerk you don't want to pay for magical items from the beast shop, or any place. So what you think everything should be free then since quote magic people should just have magic stuff? you are the idiot.

i just feel like the game is too easy even on hard setting and you don't have to work enough to get around. ive only had the game for 2 days and im already at 52% completion. Just feels too easy.

The game world is boring and bland enough as is without forcing the player to pay a toll to fast travel on top of it.

For people that don't want to fast travel, you can just ignore it. For people that do want to fast travel, it's nice to have it there for free.

A fast travel toll actively makes the game worse for everyone that doesn't want to wander aimlessly around the world all because the other side lacks the self control to just not use it.

Using up moonstones would be a alternative since the player has so many. Use alchemy tables to turn them into floo powder.

exactly, it actually costs money and witches and wizards have to go buy it. feels like it would make the game feel more canon and give you another reason to go and shop
