Issue with Final Boss Battle [SPOILERS]

I was going to submit a bug report but someone else did, though it only has three votes.

In the battle with Ranrok's dragon form, I cannot break the colored orbs. Red i'm able to do no problem, but yellow I cannot break at all, i've tried all four options. The first phase purple I could break it after hitting it with a red and then a purple, but no combo will break any other purple or yellow.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm on PC, i've abandoned the quest, reloaded saves, restarted the game and left it overnight but nothing works, i've done this quest multiple times and while the first time I could get to the final phase, now i'm stuck on the second.

Strangely enough Bombarda worked on the yellow orb just now.

That is bug, for me all colors worked properly.

I maxed my ancient magic damage to the point that I destroyed the boss in seconds. haha

I'm experiencing the same problem in the last stage of Ranrok. Red orb is no problem, but 1 yellow and 2 purple don't seem to burst. Tried everything.

I think there's an order in which to pop the orbs when there are 2, at least that's how I managed to destroy the orbs that weren't popping initially.

I think I see the bug visually too. I cast Accio, which is a purple spell, to a purple orb but I also see a yellow mist leaving my wand. Which is strange...

im having the same issue , hoped this update would fix it but still a getting a white circle round the orb and no spells will fix it , tried resetting etc

I have been stuck on phase 2 for ages. I could break the red orb, but the purple orb won't break no matter which spell I use or how close I stand, or which potions I use. Have hit it wit everything I've got. Must be a bug.

update: got through phase 2, but now phase 3 is stuck and I can't destroy the purple or yellow orbs.

Sorry for taking so long, I had to manually aim instead of using the auto aim. It was difficult but eventually I got it

UPDATE:
I eventually got it by manually aiming instead of using the auto aim. Really difficult during the last phase since they go so quick but I had the maximum potions and made it.

Same, I also had another issue where I kept jumping instead of casting.

I ended up switching to easy to be done with it.

Still stuck on phase 3. Red pops, but not yellow or purple, whether I auto aim or not. I just keep relaunching the game in the hope that it will debug itself eventually. That's how I got through phase 1 and 2.
