My review received some anger

Regardless of the unhappy few that seem to dislike my positive review of Hogwarts Legacy, I will leave my review as is. I do not apologize for honesty. Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic game.

Additionally, Seems that one of the places that sometimes shows my reviews on their site is cutting ties, because of my review. Being that they never even paid me, not sure why they thought that would give me pause for concern.

Hogwarts Legacy is a game that caused a divide with a small amount of people. The majority of us that live in reality, ironically being that this is all over a video game in a fictitious world, we can enjoy the game without these problems.

No matter how much those select few people hate me, it does not change that Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic game and that I highly recommend it for Harry Potter fans and those that have never been such. The wizarding world is fun for all.

Just stream on Rumble. They don't play along with the nonsense that Google and Amazon platforms do.

I do not typically stream video games. My streaming YouTube channel is science based. I have been enjoying watching Cycle 25 for our solar activity. We recently had the most intense flare of the cycle, an X2.28. Fortunately, not much controversy over such science.

It is the voice actor. The lines are delivered in an out of place kind of way. The voice acting is scales from good to fantastic, so Sirona stands out in failing to fit the moments and pulls the player out of the situation.

I strongly think she was a late addition to the game as a way for the devs to try to deflect criticism of the franchise.

Her recording obviously lacks the direction the other characters got.

Rumble doesn't care about your politics. It lets you post what you want without forcing their own politics or hate like YouTube.

Indeed. There is zero shame in playing and enjoy Hogwarts Legacy. It is a game and a good one at that. It is weird where some people draw the line in life and how much those people want to control other people.

As for me, I am going between my Hufflepuff and Slytherin protagonists and slowly going through the story again. My Ravenclaw student was my first play through and took just under 100 hours.

What is the point of this discussion, literally nobody cares.

People have a baby mentality to hate the writer rather than dispute with anything relevant. Even if your OPINION is wrong in every way, thats on you. But i'd stand by my statement to say hogwarts legacy is a extremely lackluster game in every possible way, the only good thing I could say positive is that its art style is nice

Open world is just minor "collect this"
enemies have no variety your only fighting 4-5 of the same types everywhere you go
Side quests are the same fetch quest or kill objective everywhere
Collecting 200+ things just to make completists stay longer on their short game..
Story is monotone boring

Morality doesn't exist in this, these children are going around frying people to corpses for poaching monsters then turns around and basically farms and keeps them themselves lol, then proceeds to act nice and good and like it never happened

Characters are forgettable, on top of you only being able to interact with a hand full of them

But yeah, mostly stems from my deep hate of empty open worlds like this that just keeps coming out. (why did i quote myself.. wtf)

I do not agree on all of your comments, but some are indeed very true. The morality seems to be funneled into a specific set of choices through the game, mostly in the end. I believe that the developers aim for a specific point to carry the story forward.

Sebastion, Anne, Solomon, Ominus are definitely not forgettable, in my opinion. I only found a few characters that seemed bland overall. I did not care for Fitzgerald, Simona and another character that I cannot remember the name of, lol. They were the least Interesting. Most of the characters were great in the story arc.

I am disappointed in the lack of Simon Pegg in Black. He is barely present for such a great actor. Might have to watch Hot Fuzz again, just to make up for it.

I think it's a fun game. Not brilliant, but nevertheless loads of fun things to do.

I had my eyes on this game long before those haters got their panties in a knot. I was already planning to buy and play this game, but I must say that needles try to boycott the game and harassing people that wanted to play it, has in a way cemented that decision.

Anyway - I still have hours to go in this game, and I am sure that will be very pleasant hours.

In itself, the game is not groundbreaking, but it brings something new like Elden Ring did. A story that is not a copy and paste, with a world that continues to be fun well after bearing the game once. At least for me.

I am new to the Harry Potter world itself, which might be part of my carried excitement. I am halfway through the fifth book still, not having read any more yet, since the game release. Between the science channel, my guitar and pupper, and now the game, reading is on hold.

This would make a lot of sense. If the voice actor did not have time to get the mood and direction right, it would be quite difficult to get the lines right in delivery. I found Fitzgerald a little passive in voice acting as well, but not as bad. Just too emotionless for the situations they are in.

I do not monetize and even my science channel is nonprofit. If I get into gaming streaming, this could be a future option. It was just odd, being that I never streamed on my personal channel before. I guess it was just that it was live streaming Hogwarts Legacy that drew the attention. I will be streaming Kerbal Space Program 2 on my science channel. Again, that is just non profit though.

No one should be ashamed for liking and sharing their joy of Hogwarts Legacy. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading some of the positive reviews and even watching some of the fellow YouTuber videos.

I had no intention of drawing attention to my personal YouTube channel and was streaming for a some friends and their friends. Just bad timing I guess. I will leave game streaming to those who rely on it for their income and channels. I was just shocked by the responses of a certain small group.

I am looking forward to lore and gaming conversations on these forums with many of you in the days to come. There are many fantastic gamers here in which make the experience even better.
