How can I change the Hippogreif to the Thestral - PC-Version

I own the Hippogriff and the Thestral, but I'm not able to use the Thestral. I have the DLC. I can use the broomstick and the Hippogriff, no more.

theres a quest to unlock hippogriff after unlocking that u can go to gears and change skin... if u preordered u can even put on onyx hippogriff caligo. also if u breed highwing(white) and caligo(black) u will get shiny hippogriff

on the same page where you switch gear, on the far right is your broom and flying mount. You can click on them and select a different look / animal
