As soon as the game updated to first patch, it turned into a nightmare - stuttering, crashes, framedrops, etc...
No need to change your system for a wannabe fix, it`s THE GAME that needs to be fixed by devs!
i`m currently at lvl 28 and gonna wait till an appropriate patch comes out
Some outer source forums suggest that, for memory error message you should go to System>Advanced system settings>select advanced TAB>select SETTINGS under PERFORMANCE>select ADVANCED tab>PROGRAMS>CHANGE>disable Auto manage paging file>select the drive on wich Hogwarts is installed on to>select CUSTOM> set initial size to your maximum RAM ( example - 12Gb = 12 000 ) and maximum size to 4x the initial size ( example - if you have 12k then max will be 48k )>hit SET>OK>APPLY>OK and then restart your system!
Apparently Hogwarts brutaly chunks through Vram memory, so this *fix* might help someone with memory error
Thanks for the comments
I wish they would let us roll back to that first patch. They have the ability to offer old or future patches through the beta facilty.
The game is unplayable for me now after being fine (the usual bad optimization aside) that I have stopped playing until they fix it.
16000 and 64000 and works fine now
To verify the game files’ integrity, please follow the next steps.
Step 1: Open Steam and find Hogwarts Legacy to right-click on it.
Step 2: Choose Properties and navigate to the LOCAL FILES tab.
Step 3: Choose Verify integrity of game files and then you can wait until the process ends.
Now, you can check if the low fatal error Hogwarts Legacy has been gone.
Another method to fix Hogwarts Legacy low fatal error is to run the game as an administrator.
Step 1: Right-click on the game application file on your PC and choose Properties.
Step 2: Then go to the Compatibility tab and checkmark the checkbox of Run this program as an administrator.
Then click Apply and OK to save the changes. Relaunch your game to see if the Hogwarts Legacy low fatal error has been fixed.
Some people find the LowLevelFatalError on Hogwarts Legacy can be removed by running an SFC scan. It is worth trying here!
Step 1: Type cmd in the Search box and run Command Prompt as an administrator.
Step 2: When the window opens, please input the following command and press Enter.
sfc /scannow
input sfc /scannow
Then restart your PC and check the error.
This was a very very old topic which I've solved now, it was my GPU which had artifacting problems, I've replaced it for the same model the warranty took care of it, it was the graphics card literally dying. As result the game crashed. Thanks for the info though.
