yes, it does. probably because they use an app to alter the voice actors voice instead of using more then one voice actors.

I think it sounds like Daniel Radcliffe.

If you move the voice slider during character creation, it can sound mechanical.

He is not using the default voice. Default voices are fine, it's the mechanical issue that comes in when you try to change the pitch of the voice. I ran into the same issue making a Hufflepuff character for a 4th play-through. Thought to myself, let's mix it up since I already played with normal voice and wanted a more deeper option. Well, that was a mistake haha. I hear a mechanical rasp sound after every line. It's annoying and I might restart.

you can edit the voice pitch in the settings / sound

(edit: i had the same feeling, so i looked for a fix)

Ill see if i can edit it b/c it kinda kills the immersion to the game listening to him.

Yeah, if it's not set to the middle I find the other voices all sound robotic

it's a bug

when you create a character with a voice that you changed the pitch of.. like if you made a guy character and made his voice deeper, theres a bug where the normal unedited voice plays at the exact same time that the deeper voice plays. so its just 2 different pitched voices playing over each other at the same time

makes the character sound like a robot

Let me guess, you changed the pitch from the default voice (male or female?)
Unfortunately their pitch modification is busted as hell and turns you in to a robot for anything other than the default voice.

Literally use the default setting. That is your fix.
