Man, this is absolutely tough. By exploring i barely made the half of it.

Any tips rather than the how to- videos?

3 of them you cannot get until you have the unlocking spell. Other then that main quest will have you come over a few. Also, if you haven't unlock all the floo powder locations, it should help you explore the castle and come across a few.

Revelio will also reveal the Keys in the environment.

As an exploration game - WB nailed it.

I got tired of running back to the common room to drop off tokens myself and when I finally got back around to it yesterday I found I was only 3 tokens short - so I hope that helps: Just playing the game, using revelio, paying attention and stopping to complete small tasks while en route to something else can help a player move along without duress.

Guess I need to work on my thieving skills now <sigh>

FYI one of them is hiding in the path from the map chamber to the rest of hogwarts. I kept missing it cause i always fast traveled to and from there

i just ran around spamming Revelio
why looking for the glow of the cabinet or the small glow of a key

i found them all just through regular play. didnt even really look for them. any time you see a cabinet you know a key is somewhere nearby. listen for the little jingle sound and you are closing in on it.
