Bugged on Rookwoods second trial

So I get to the room where you have to hit the disk to rotate the archway...I hit it and nothing happens. I can't leave because the map is unavailable, is there anyway to fix this?

Just use the wand attack to hit it, not a spell, as I recall. It was a while ago for me though.

I tried that and it still won't move it, I will try it again, thank you

Have you saved and reloaded the game? sometimes resetting these help.

I did a couple times before that, I had to reload an older save for it to finally work, thank you
