PS5 DualSense Edge controller on PC

Anyone else having issues with playing Hogwarts Legacy with a DualSense Edge controller on PC? It's like the game doesn't see a controller is plugged in at all. A regular DualSense works fine.

I've noticed that other games had issues too, but some, like Forspoken, got updates that specifically mentioned the Edge controller in their patch notes.

Yes, I checked for an update via my PS5, but there is none.

You can't use DualSense features (Adaptive triggers, haptics, etc) if you use a Steam profile.

Try it in Big Picture Mode. Also check the controller settings in Steam and ensure all the correct boxes are checked.

Could have swore I had to go into steam settings controller support settings and check ps5 controller to get get mine to work with steam games period. I realize I don't get the features.

It works if I enabled Playstation configuration, but then it is just a standard controller without access to the special triggers, haptic feedback, controller speaker/mic.

My bad, I didn't read the Edge part or actually know what that was at the time lol
