Small disappointment about the ending...(Spoilers)
I was kind of hoping Professor Black would get a Hero moment. Even a small one. Just to have been present when all the other professors show up to fight Ranrok's army.

I was disappointed when it ended up being Professor Weasely who saves us from the falling pillar.

Ever since the Dawn of the Dead Remake introduced us to CJ, I really like it when unlikeable characters get a chance to prove that despite their more abrasive quirks, when it matters most they'll stand up and deliver.

It really could have been a cool moment to give Black that one shining moment to show that he is more than just the butt monkey of every joke.

A hero moment for him would have been out of character, unless he stumbled into it by mistake. Although I would have preferred somebody other than Weasley take center stage. I'm not sure how that family has managed to get retconned into importance.

I half way expected him to help the goblins. It was weird he didn't appear at all, but he definitely does not need a hero moment.

Ha.

The pillar.

I was hoping that I got crushed under that 30-ton rock.

Put myself out of my misery and pass the baton.

Which you call a wand.

Black isn't that bad, all things considered. A bit of a ponce no doubt, but he's hardly actively malevolent.

In fact, I can't think of one genuinely bad thing he does the whole game. He's snobby and he canceled quidditch. That's about the worst thing you can say for the guy.

Letting him have ONE moment in the story where he does something decent wouldn't have changed any of that.

It wouldn't have necessarily had to be a big hero moment but geez, at least show he's willing to fight for the school and students charged to his care when it matters most.

If you go to his office, there's a note from the Minister that refuses his recommendation that the enrollment progress be changed.

Knowing how much of a pure-blood supremacist he is (referenced by your character when you take the polyjuice potion and become him, as well as the HP films), its not really hard to guess that he wanted the minister to only allow pure-bloods to enroll into Hogwarts.
