Update graphics drivers if you haven't already. It helped my buddy launch the game

happens all the time. Make sure you make multiple saves. I've yet to have a problem and it happens every time.

I had to go into steam settings and clear out my cache. That's the only thing that worked for me.

Hey all, I was able to fix the problem on my end. Opened game on my steam deck, did a new save there. Then shut down the game on my steam deck. I then signed out of steam on my PC signed back in and hit the "try to sync" option again in steam on my pc. It was able to successfully sync.

I hope this helps someone.

I solved the issue by pressing on the button (with the simbol of a cloud) next to the game name in the list of the library. It was a small cloud, that's all i can offer :)
