Settings Textures to Ultra doesn't fix the PS1 graphics anymore

Basically what the title says. Some people had an issue where most textures and faces looked straight up awful and setting textures to Ultra made them look normal. After the patch it doesn't work anymore. If anyone discovers a new fix for this issue please reply here.

MADmusk came up with a solution. I thank him and everyone else who contributed. I also found instruction on how to roll back to the previous patch in another discussion if anyone is interested: https://steamcommunity.com/app/990080/discussions/0/3773490215217051083/

Same problem here. No solution yet I'm afraid. The "good" news is that there are a lot of complaints so it should be fixed rather fast. Patience...

i have from all versions a backup that is the best solution for all situations. but atm i play the newest and it is the best version for me @4k nativ^^

I have no comparison of "before" and "after" the patch, because I got the patch and then started the game for the first time. But I got no farther than character creation and the graphics are just faulty. Everything is blurry and eyebrows and lashes don't even show up. It didn't matter if I put the settings on Ultra or the lowest possible quality. Patching the files didn't help either.

I have the same issue I played with Ulta textures and medium graphic options, everything worked fine and my game wasn't laggy but since the the last patch, my game is now in low poly, PS1 like textures

i really question if you guys have even seen a PS1 game... i play on the lowest setting and my game look like a PS4 game not a PS1 game.. so how can you guys get a PS1 graphic unless your game is corrupted somehow..

Well with this bug the textures are so messed up that symbols on the stones of Merlin Trials aren't even recognisable and it's impossible to complete Astronomy Table because there is no lighting to highlight specific stars which makes them all blend together. So in some ways it's even worse than PS1 because there are some pretty solid looking games from that era.

that sound a lot like file corruption or maybe the game dont work with your GPU... you should report it to the dev with https://hogwartslegacy.bugs.wbgames.com/

it worked fine before the patch which means developers simply broke something with the recent update. Many people reported the same issue. I already placed my report and I hope they will either reverse the patch or fix this.

bruh I literally said in the title that changing textures to Ultra doesn't work anymore and that's exactly why I'm asking for alternative solution
