performance better at 2880 x 1620 then at 1440p

as per the title i am getting better fps and way less stutter at 2880 x 1620 with dlss balanced then i am with 1440p at dlss quality so the question is why? I was expecting worse performance not better

RTX3070ti
i7 12700k
32gigs
installed on NVME

2880x1620 with DLSS balanced is actually a slightly lower internal resolution than 1440p with DLSS quality. It's a very small difference but it is there.

right ok thanks. well the game looks better at 1620 balanced then it does at 1440 quality, well in my opinion anyways and it really does run alot better then at 1440p quality
