Merlin Trial Bug

Hello all, after completing all the quest lines I am now going back and getting the rest of the achievements. right now I'm working on completing all the Merlin Trials, however i cant interact with them at all. before i completed the main quest I had no issues when trying them so I am very confused. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this i would greatly appreciate it! TIA

Other than not having some herb in your pocket... no clue. I finished it without an issue after completing the story.

If it started jsut now, it might be related to the patch. Did you do a verify file integrity on steam first to see if that solves it ? (this is the 1st thing you should always do after a patch)

Edit: Just verified mine since i just installed the patch and "157 files failed to validate" and it redownloaded them. So give that a try.

Same here, but right after the patch. Did the verification and still cant interact.

yes i was able to verify the integrity of all files post-update

Yea haha making sure the plant was in my pocket was the first thing i did, i dont even see the prompt to interact with them, and its just the merlin trials. opening chests or doors and interacting with other items in game(such as loot drops or the occasional searchable sack) gives me no issues

You might have already started the mission. This happen to me until I noticed it was active and I just finished it. I have another issue where I’ve done two trials and a highlands field guide but they still show up as not yet completed even tho when I go there they are.

I have a different issue. I have flown around the map 10+ times spamming revelio and there are no Merlin Trials left to do but I haven't got the achievement so must be missing one/some. Is there a way to see how many Merlin Trials you have completed in the different areas or on the whole map?

Zoom all the way out on the map, it tells you everything you've missed and what areas they're in

I got the same problem, i did all the trials but no achievement unlocked

Yes, if you zoom out all the way on the map it will show you everything in the top right, hovering the cursor over a specific region will show your progress in that region
