Fixed issue with RTAO looking worse than SSAO.
Adjusted default setting to Medium Quality.

Shader compilation performance updates and functionality enhancements.
Fixed a crash affecting Text2Speech usability.
Resolved issues with world assets abruptly being stretched which resolves the following reported issues: HL-305, HL-265.
Resolved an issue with Nvidia GPUs having lower frame rate compared to AMD.
DirectX Version 12
Please note DirectX Version 12 is required to run Hogwarts Legacy on PC. We do not suggest attempting workarounds to run the game with DirectX Version 11 as this can cause stability issues with launching the game and the player experience.

So still no fix for Take the biscuit quest :(

What does the bug entail for this? Never heard about it.

The quest from Deek's quest line requires you to free a goblin's mooncalf from poachers. If you happen to have raided the poachers camp in the open world before you get the quest, and you alohomora'd the lock on a (then empty) cage, the lock won't reappear for the quest. That locks you out of the whole Deek questline. There's currently no fix or workaround for this.

This is rather enervating, because you usually are halfway through the game at that point, and it locks you out of all the vivarium biome unlocks as well as beast breeding.

Awesome find and awesome share! Really sucks they don't post the patch notes on Steam

Even here though they don't seem to have the official patch notes for the day 1 patch of 10 February. I guess they consider that the release build and the pre-release is just an unfinished build and thus why no patch notes were released for 10 Feb?

Yeah and my friggin pet feeder is gone from my vivarium and when I try to conjure a new one it says I have one already in there. Can you sh!tters make a patch without breaking stuff?

there is supposed to be 3. I am running the game in Fullscreen 2560x1440
maybe it depends on your monitor or settings?

Try reload steam. And if that doesn't help go to Hogwartz settings here on the library and click search updates :) aka always keep updated function :))

maybe reinstalling the game could work
