game won't launch

I get this error message when trying to launch the game. I've tried everything but nothing works. Has anyone else gotten the same error message? (patch didn't change anything either)

Couldn't start:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\HogwartsLegacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\HogwartsLegacy.exe" Phoenix-SaveToUserDir- UserDir="Hogwarts Legacy"

they were forced to relabel the Binaries folder to NonBinaries. now nothing works and they don't know why. lol

Some Hogwarts Legacy PC players report crash at startup with the following error message.

Couldn’t start: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\HogwartsLegacy.exe” Phoenix-SaveToUserDir -UserDir=”Hogwarts Legacy” CreateProcess() returned 2e4.

The fix for this issue is simple. Right-click Hogwarts Legacy in Steam library > Manage > browse local files. A new window will open with game files, and navigate to Phoenix > Binaries > Win64. Right-click the HogwartsLegacy executable, shown in the image below, and select troubleshoot compatibility. Let the troubleshooter work, and it’ll identify a problem if there is any. Click on the Test program and use the suggested settings. Launch Hogwarts LEgacy, and it won’t crash.

My only complain is that for some reason the loading screen lasts longer now, but once it's done, perfect performance. It seems that I have to use the "Windows 8" configuration now, I don't know why... (My PC has Windows 10). Anyway, if it works I'm not complaing xD Thanks again!
