Gear Storage?

Couple hours in and after what I’d call “typical” open world exploring I’ve already maxed out the amount of gear I can carry.

But I keep finding chests and earning gear…and can’t take it with me.

Does the game offer gear storage in some fashion? A storage chest or something like that that “unlocks” after you reach a certain point in the game?

Sell the gear you dont need. Whenever you pick gear up, you permanently unlock the appearance without having to keep it.

just sell it if it's not an upgrade. you keep all cosmetics of the things you pick up. gear is just vendor trash outside of transmog additions and direct upgrades.

You can destroy and sell the gear you don't use.

Just sell all the gear you are not using. You can change the visual style of your gear in the inventory screen. So if you have a style you found and liked, you can just apply it to your best gear.

There isn't a reason to horde. But it is a common question.

First, use shops to sell all gear worse than what you have equipped.

Second, there is a side quest/exploration objective that raises your inventory to 40.

Third, everything you find is unlocked as a transmog so you don't need to worry about losing the appearance when selling it.

Not sure about a storage chest
but for gear once you have it its auto goes to the mog section so no need to keep them sell sell sell

well once you get the chance i was full be for i got there sadly if thats the case destroy the 60gold ones first there the cheapest

Do the Uganda quest and upgrade to your storage quest will be near there

Thanks all, I actually didn’t notice a transmog system so that pretty much resolves the issue.

My personal trick is to continue exploring/questing until my gear inventory is near full and I'm near Fast Travel node. I make note of where it's at on the map, then fast travel to Hogsmeade, sell off what I don't want. After that, I return to where I left off. I'm a miser, so I NEVER destroy anything.

completing merlin trials will give you more space, but still massively limited... i often can't get through 1 mission, if it involves exploring at all, without having to destroy lower gear to make space.

Limited inventory and always having to go back to the room of requirement to identify gear before deciding what to sell is probably my biggest frustration with this game.

Actually you can barter with the shop and stall traders to trade your old gear for currency. And all traders seem to willing to barter for anything.

Or you can use a feature that make the gear disappear for ever, like a permanent Invisibility Potion.

Seems like once you sell or delete you loss the item.
