The people with good performance
I'm not saying they don't exist, but I think a lot of them are trolls and a lot of them are people whose definitions of "good performance" are just different from others'. I was watching a port report that said this port was "great" and "runs flawlessly" and as the words were leaving his mouth his footage was stuttering. Many people simply don't see or otherwise have a high tolerance for performance problems and it could explain a large chunk of the people claiming it runs "butter smooth."

I'm running a 3090 with settings on highest and ray tracing on high atm and usually hover around 70fps @ 1440p. I was having a lot of stuttering problems a couple days in that basically made it unplayable and wasn't sure what it was until I updated my gpu drivers. That seemed to fix my issue and it's been running smooth ever since.

Well we made it to 1,000 comments so my work here is done.

I've been streaming this game nonstop on Discord as well as all my friends without issues... I assure you, we are not trolls or fake accounts and most are curators.

Or just have modern machines. No issues here. Tho I built all my machines and it runs perfectly. Maybe people are using ready built ♥♥♥♥ or didn't research parts that works well together. Even my 5 year old 1080Ti machine runs like butter at 4k
i have a Dell two yr-old pc, this game is running with no issues, my 40" screen is also Dell and same age. i've done no part upgrades, just kept the drives updated, im running win 10. I really dont understand all the issues folks are having. im at level 30 now, playing since a day later after the pc drop. Sry the rest of u pc'ers are having issues. its a fantastic game sofar.

Ray tracing performance is going to be low for EVERYONE, so just leave it off, unless you have a RTX 4090.

i have a 4090 and 13900k runs like ass with or without RT, stutter , stttttuuuuuttter

It's 2023, no one is talking about 1080p.

I'm running x2 SLI rtx 4090 ti's with latest nvidia v528.49 drivers on a i9-10900KF 128G ddr4 without issues at ultra/ray tracing etc. Maybe download CPU-Z latest version and snapshot your actual hardware specs and OS task manager running processes and contact https://portkeygamessupport.wbgames.com/hc/en-us/categories/360004524734-Hogwarts-Legacy?

Nice lie. SLI is dead.

On my system the last patch worked miracles... Well miracles is too much of course, but the game runs smoothly now and the lagging that happened again and again does not appear anymore.
And when it comes to specs: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, Nvidia 1060 GTX, so there's definitely no high-end machine under my desk.

How can you be in SLI mode without any NV link on 4000 series ?

@vaanomega, You are correct and my response was removed as this was given to me incorrectly. Our are running a 4090, a RTX 4070 Ti and the other is running x2 RTX 2080 Ti for benchmark testing with various VR stuff. After hearing about the Hogwarts issues, we decided to run it on each machine and did not notice major stuttering.

No you don't. No one does. There is shader compilation stutter for everyone. You are blind. It's playable ... I get 120fps easily if you don't count the stutter/dips, without DLSS, but the shader comp stutter is distracting and always nagging.
