You are probably missing these two .dll files (d3dx9_42.dll & xinput1_3.dll) x64 bit versions, download them and put them directly inside "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" if that does not work try to move the two .dll files to your game executable's folder "..\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy".

0xc000007b in UE should be invalid image format.
Have your tried a clean install of your GPU drivers already?

Clean install as in checking that little box in the installer or complete driver removal with DDU before reinstalling it?

I'm having the same issue. Nothing is allowing it to start up...

Just got it working!!
Do the steps in the youtube video, but move the files to the Hogwarts Legacy directory.
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy

In case you didn't try already, running "sfc /scannow" in a command window with admin privileges might also be worth a try.

It ran fine on a laptop with a 2060. Ran choppy on an i3 quad desktop with a 1070 but only 8gb ram that normally does okay for WMR. What I really want to run it on is i7 10700k 32ram with a 5700 xt but it wont load. I tried all the tips above and more and I am now going to do a full reinstall of windows. I don't know if this is an AMD issue or WB issue.

having same problems any solution?

Corrupted or missing system files...As suggested earlier running "sfc /scannow" in a command window with admin privileges should restore those files.
