Pc performance fixed by modders...this is humiliating!
I'm glad i can play now with ultra settings no raytracing and no stuttering, but it's the dev's work to deliver an optimized game, not modder's!!! Just few lines in the engine.ini made so much difference and the fix came in very short time!

it's not humiliating it's just the bureaucracy that comes with big companies. just takes time for stuff to get through the pipeline.

now if you wanna argue that they should have caught this before releasing the game that's a different story and i'm all on board with that.

Yes, each machine is different, different results. Also is more favorable to work with lot of ram and vram. Hope to have a proper fix very soon.

Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling
Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is a Windows feature that can significantly improve game performance. To enable this feature, go to Windows search and type “GPU.” From there, you will find the option to enable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Note that you will need to restart your computer after making this change.

Go in engine.ini
[SystemSettings]
r.bForceCPUAccessToGPUSkinVerts=True
r.GTSyncType=1
r.OneFrameThreadLag=1
r.FinishCurrentFrame=0
r.TextureStreaming=1
r.Streaming.PoolSize=3072
r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1
[ConsoleVariables] AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdates=1 AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesDuringGamethreadUpdates=1 AllowAsyncRenderThreadUpdatesEditor=1

Most people already have HA on by default, it can give issues for lower spec systems however.

Half the other suggestions might do more harm than good.

Have you tried lowering your settings? and putting a 6-16gb pagefile ?

i have an i9-11900k, 3090 and 64gbddr4. I shouldnt have to lower settings. But yes. Even setting everything to Low/OFF and playing in 480p the game runs like ♥♥♥♥. It runs slightly better than at ultra but that's it. It's still playable at ultra but the experience is severly bogged down and we need a patch. I manually messed with the pagefile but it didnt do anything so I set it back to windows managed. The game is just broken.

I have ryzen 2700x, rtx 3060 12gb vram and 32gb ram. The game is installed on windows 10 on nvme. My specs are considered mostly medium-low. My pagefile is on a secondary hdd managed by the system. I play on 1080p dlss quality, no vsync

damn, people just keep copy-pasting these ini settings without even trying to look up what they do.
the only one you might need is "r.Streaming.PoolSize", and the value depends on your GPU's memory. people shouldn't just put that 3072 there just because someone told them to paste that stuff in the ini.
it should be half of your GPU's memory if it's up to 8GB, otherwise it should be 6144, iirc.

the last thing I need to try is replacing that other dll that was mentioned in the previous page (not the dlss one, the other). after that, I'll have tried all the fixes. some of them helped but I still get severe fps drops (down to 17-25 fps) from time to time. oddly, sometimes casting "revelio" a couple of times fixes them.

I use a RTX3080Ti and my frame rate is 2 to 10 fps half the time and about 30 the rest of time. Tried the ini changes with no effect and insuring GPU scheduling was still set.

why would the devs fix there game when the steam results are so positive there operating a business unless it effects there profits there not gonna waste money fixing the game jus look at bugthesda 20 years on the same bugs are present. until there made to react to the game being broken i doubt anything will be done

I said before the streaming pool size is according your vram and ram, i couldn't remember the rule, but google helps...last suggestion is don't update to latest nvidia drivers, stick with the previous version

Gtx 1070 may be too weak

can you please explain me this for dummies? im dont understand what do i have to write there, i have a gtx 1070 = 8 gb and 32 gb ram
